Currently, the GameLab makes its technical infrastructure available to researchers and students at various locations at the University of Konstanz. The research room combines different technical equipment in order to have a flexible equipment, so that it is possible to use it as a seminar or conference room. In cooperation with the Communication, Information and Media Center (KIM), four console workstations and a board game collection are available for students in the MediaLab. A mobile high-end classroom, which was purchased jointly with the Department of Computer and Information Science, the Department of Literature, Art, and Media Studies, and the KIM, is available to instructors in the Orangerie and is administered by the GameLab. Students are also enabled to borrow various games and materials that can be played and tried out either from home or on site.
In the GameLab office, there are currently three high-end gaming computers for researchers. A console workstation is currently being set up.
